Pollen is the fine powder that the male part of a flower makes and secretes. Bees collect this pollen and add honey or nectar to it, creating grains, sometimes you see these grains on their legs. These grains are called bee pollen and are taken to the beehive. In the hive they serve as food for the queen and to protect the hive against bacteria and fungi. Over the centuries, bee pollen has been used by various peoples (in Egypt and China). Mattisson Absolute Bee Pollen contains only bee pollen without any other additives.
